A WEEKEND IN PARIS

While studying abroad in Bilbao, Spain my friends and I decided to plan a trip to Paris. We wanted to see everything there was to see. My favorite part of Paris was by far the Musee D’orsay. This was my favorite museum. I spent hours inside looking at Van Gogh and Monet and many other fabulous artists throughout the centuries. We ofcourse visited the few places you must visit while you’re in Paris, like the Louve and the Eiffle Tower.

When we went to the Louvre I was very overwhelmed. The process of walking into this grand Museum was over my head but once we got inside there was much to see. We looked at the ceilings and the walls decorated from centuries ago. And then we finally got the the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was much smaller than I imagined with a large group of people gathering around such a small piece of artwork. I felt important and dated back into time in history as many people had stood where I was standing.
After the Louvre we had one final place to visit and that was the Eiffel Tower. We stood in line in the cold for a while to get into the Eiffel Tower. Once we got inside you travel up an elevator to the top of the tower. We bought a bottle of champagne to celebrate at the top and sipped on our drinks while checking out the view from the top. The Eiffel Tower was huge to say the least. It also is in the stage of blinking lights for an amount of time so the tower looks like a disco fest when you see it. The view of below from the top is unexplainable, you can see all of the streets that you walk through during the day and all of the lights of the city.
